  1. How Did You Get Into The Industry?

“My insurance journey began in 2004 like it has for a lot of others…without the intent of it being my long-term focus. It’s hard to believe that what started as a summer job while in university, assisting with filing and document scanning with Penncorp in Mississauga led me into my 18th year in the industry in 2024, but here we are! Although I wasn’t quite sold on it at first, the 2 week training in Florida that I was provided was just enough to keep my interest and now I couldn’t imagine doing anything else – and I tried! In 2007 and 2008 I left to pursue my love of sports broadcasting and was able to do that for 2 years (hence the 18 years and not 20). But my passion for insurance (and my face for radio) led me back to the industry in 2009 and I haven’t looked back.”

  1. What Do You Like Best About Working With Equitable Life?

“What I enjoy most about working with Equitable is two-fold. I love our unique value proposition as a mutual company committed to protecting today and preparing tomorrow, which allows me to work with advisors as they offer strong solutions that put our policyholders at the forefront. In addition, it’s my Equitable colleagues that I’m able to partner with who are a big part of what makes me look forward to each day. Together, we make a difference and I’m fortunate to be alongside some of the best in the business!”
